Dear Dog Blog,

I decided to start my gardening early this year.  Here I am sniffing things out and planning how I want things to look.

The last thing I want is for my garden is for it to look like everyone else's. So I decided to try out some new things.  Mummy says instead of having 'green' paws I have 'heavy' paws. But isn't that exactly what a good gardener needs?! See Exhibit A and B below. I think the flowers look better closer to the ground, don't you?

I'm not sure how happy Mummy is with all this but I think its all just a matter of taste! Speaking of taste, in the middle of all this gardening I started to get a bit hungry. Here I am trying to nom on some flower leaves but Mummy caught me and said they aren't for nomming on. Do I look disappointed?

Well after all this sniffing, stomping, digging and re-organizing I decided it was time for a nap. Best part of gardening is a good nap after a hard day's work!

Fun Facts: Mattie is a fun loving shihtzu who was rescued from a kill-shelter. Mattie may be a small dog but he's got a huge heart. He is the founder of The MattieDog Foundation that works to help advance social media and no-kill animal management. He was voted Best of Twitter April 2010, beating out celebs/sports figures and voted Coolest Dog on Twitter in July 2010. Meet the beautiful Toki!

Fun Facts about Toki: Toki is a one year old rescue, living in Venice Beach, California.  She's sweet and rascally, noble and silly, all at the same time.  Toki loves running in the Santa Monica mountains, chasing seagulls on the beach, and chewing on pinecones while her human buddies climb around on rocks.  At home her favorite game is tug of war, and her favorite pasttime is the the belly rub.

Dear Dog Blog,
M&D recently introduced me to something called a "time out" box. They said its for when they I need quiet time because I'm being naughty.

I'm not really sure what that means but I've decided that this 'time out' box is pretty comfy.

ZzzzZZZzzz...its definitely great for naps!

I hear M&D snicker and giggle every time I take a nap in my 'time out' box...but isn't that what its for? I  overheard them say there's no point in buying me any more expensive doggy beds but I say a pup can't have enough places to nap!

Our FurFriend this week is a sweet 'heinz 57' mutt named Shadow!

Fun Facts about Shadow: At 12 years young, Shadow is her Momma's baby girl!  Shadow lives with her kittykat sisfur Mati, 2 turtles names Harry and Sally and a tank full of fishes. Shadow was also Starbuck and ZuZu's playmate when they were puppies and we all lub her very very much!
