Dear Dog Blog,

It's nearing the end of summer. We hopes the sun and flowers will stay with us a bit longer. Just in case, Mummy took some photos to remember us in the summer of 2012.

Dear Dog Blog,

I was getting all excited watching the Canada vs USA women's olympic soccer (aka football) game! Unfortunately they lost to our American friends 3-4 but they still have a chance at a Bronze Medal! Go Canada Go! Here is me with my soccer ball (and chasing Hampton away from trying to steal it, BOL).

Dear Dog Blog,

We've been enjoying watching the summer olympics in London. I've always dreamt one day I would be in the olympics too - for super dog ball catching abilities! Since they haven't approved that category yet (what's wrong with the IOC?) we had some fun at home. I think Mummy is my biggest fan...here are some pics of me and Mummy cheering me on :)

once upon a time ♥ dog blog ♥ zuzu (schnauzer / heeler)

Dear Dog Blog,

The other weekend M&D took us on one of their hikes. We ended up getting lost on the trails and what should have been a 1 hour hike turned out to be closer to 3! Daddy blames it on the map he had (uh huh). Luckily we weren't too deep in the forest. We got lost cause we kept going on the wrong trails and basically went round and round in circles!

The trail we were on looked a lot like the setting in the show "Once Upon a Time" (the show is actually filmed here in BC). We think the setting looks like the forest that Snow White walks through on the show. Here are some pics Daddy took from our little adventure. Mummy says these  photos would be perfect for our very own story book ♥.

Dear Dog Blog,

We have the bestest friend ever! We absolutely lub our facebook friends. They are so caring, sweet, kind-hearted and always put smiles on our faces.

Yesterday we got a really cool gift from Giselle, Vincent and the beagle ninjas. A giraffe stuffed with a plastic bottle!!! How smart (in case you didn't know, beagles lub lub lub plastic bottles)!

a t.b. tree?! ♥ dog blog ♥ zuzu (schnauzer / heeler)

Dear Dog Blog,

Today we helped Mummy with her gardening. She called us her little cows cause we kept nomming on the grass. nom nom nom!

As part of her gardening, Mummy dug out some holes to plant her bulbs. I started thinking, what could be better than a t.b. tree?!!!...so I decided to try and plant t.b. in one of them.

Hampton thought it was a pawesome idea too and decided to get in on the action. He thought t.b. should have a bigger hole so he started digging - he's good at that. You can't see it here but his paws got pretty black. Mummy wasn't too happy with that.

Oh well. Maybe we'll get to plant t.b. next time....when Mummy isn't around!

Winter is finally here! We got a huge snow dump last night and spent most of the day running around in the snow!

Dear Dog Blog,

A few months ago Hampton received a super cute beaver in the mail from our facebook friends, Beggie & Maja. We named him, Beiber (see more pics of Hampton & Beiber here).

For Kissmas, Beggie & Maja sent me a cute little beaver too! I've decided to call mine, Gomez!!!

Here are some pics of me and Gomez. I am balancing Gomez on my head just like Hampton did with Beiber! (Btw, the beautiful red and black blankie is from our dear friend Sadie. Sadie's Mum made it for us! Thank you Sadie! We lub it!).
